RUDI RUDEZ

DJ Rudi Rudez has been in the music industry for 25 years and been surrounded by music from  he was born,  he says my farther was a dj and artist and had a band and I used to spend alot of time with Alton ellis and John holt, I started mixing dancehall, house and garage. I got into music properly in 1986 listening to reggae sound clashes on cassette tapes with DJ's like David Rodigan and Ricky Trooper from Jamaica and my mum and dads music in west London which was a lot of Gregory Isaacs Dennis brown ect my family was into the sound systems and I was brought around lethal injection sound virgo sound and paddington wreck sound gemeni sound ect
In 96' I learnt how to mix on my first soundlab decks and collected music from Nicky Blackmarket and dub vendor and at the same time learnt how to emcee to garage music and did a performance at Notting Hill Carnival in 98'
In 2010 i linked up with a good friend and we started a radio station called hotter lava radio for 5 years and that’s where I started to call my self DJ Rudi Rudez.
